Yay for Hildegard of Bingen! I did a senior seminar paper on her in college, and just before I presented it, the northern lights showed up in the sky during an excessively cold winter in Chicago. They looked like a cathedral, and since much of H of B's visionary writing was about the church, it made a great lead-in to my paper.
