Very interesting commentary on John 6 - thanks for posting it. One of my all-time favorite Eucharistic stories is The Road to Emmaus. One of my students couldn't understand why Jesus "vanished from their sight" after blessing and breaking the bread - until I reminder her that He doesn't need to be with them (us) as a physical being because He IS the Bread and is always with us in that way.
